There are 3 varieties of lynx cats: Canadian, Eurasian (living in Turkestan and Central Asia), and Iberian (living in the Mediterranean region) lynx. They are medium-sized, and have well padded paws and tufted ears. They fear open spaces and prefer dense woods.
